Wow, it looks like a title winning squad to me. ;o)

Perhaps a little short on pubic hair, but nonetheless talented.

I hope this is the sort of team planned for next season's worthington cup matches.I think it is now unlikely that Wenger is planning any more signings other than Viera,Song and the other french CB on trial.I hope we do not have many injuries/red cards this season - the squad is very thin and we suffered from this problem last year.

Tomas Rosicky is the name you're looking for. He is a superb player but quite similar to Hleb.

Robin van Persie struck twice in his first friendly of the season as an Arsenal XI drew 3-3 at Beveren on Tuesday night.

The Dutch striker scored on 74 and 79 minutes to give the visitors the lead. However Beveren striker Gervinho levelled matters six minutes from time to ensure the spoils were shared.

Earlier, Arturo Lupoli had given Arsenal a 19th minute lead but by the break Alain Koudou and Mahamadou Dissa had given the Belgian League side the advantage.

ANTTI ON WAY OUT OVER PAY DISPUTE

SOUTHAMPTON goalkeeper Antti Niemi has gone on strike in protest against being forced to take a 50 per cent pay cut following Southampton's relegation from the Premiership.

Niemi's future at St Mary's was thrown into doubt last night when the 33-year-old refused to play in Saturday's friendly with Belgian giants Anderlecht.

Southampton boss Harry Redknapp has admitted that the Finland goalkeeper's stay-at-home protest has been sparked by a contractual dispute with chairman Rupert Lowe.

Niemi is believed to be unhappy after being asked to take a £7,000-a-week drop in his pay packet as a result of a controversial clause Lowe had written into the players' contracts.
