Replace Vieira With Viera
Well, thats not gonna happen - mainly because Sebastian VIERA is a goalie. AW has admitted he would like to sign the 22 year old Uruguayan shot-stopper..."Viera is one of the options. It is true we are interested in him but the deal is far from done," AW told The Daily Mirror.

I heard a week ago that Le boss ruled him out because he was the size of Frankie Dettori's slightly shorter brother.
he's slighty bigger than Dettori, he's more Lester Piggot's size.
He is 185cm, so not that small, Wenger just said he would ideally like him to be 6 or 8 inches taller rather than ruling out him as a potential signing. Viera is an excellent keeper, 22 years old and already Uruguay #1, and would be some real competition to Jens Lehmann.
An inch or 2 you could understand, but wanting the guy to be 1/2 foot or so larger is probably pointing to the no interest corner surely???

if the guy is an international keeper then surely he is better than num-nuts Almoronia. I say get him in and sharpish. I was disappointed by our lack of urgency in signing Belgium no.1 Proto. He went for peanuts and we are always talking about buying cheap. Missed a trick there Arsene.

I read that Proto felt it was too early in his career to move to the Prem but he could be one for the future I guess. I've said it before but not signing Paul Robinson for the price that those scumbags got him for is one of AW's slipups in the transfet market.
Isaakson. Come on. You know you want him. He's exactly 6-8 inches taller than Viera.
