TH14: "I Will Try It Again..."

The Skipper has revealed that he WILL attempt the elaborate penalty again that went tits up against M*n City on Saturday.

"If we get a penalty against Spurs, I won't mess around, I'll smash it into the net. Titi stated.

"I will try it again but next time I will push the ball off the penalty spot for someone else. The main problem will be finding someone to do it with me - especially after Saturday."

"But I never found anyone who had the guts to do it with me. Robert Pires did - but then he missed the ball. It's nothing to do with being brave, it's about getting it right.

"I was ready, I arrived on time in the box but Robert's leg didn't work properly."

"Arsene Wenger was okay because we won the game. Otherwise he would not have been too happy.

"The only thing you can have a go at me about is that it was my plan and my decision to try it when we were only leading 1-0. You can also blame me for not taking the penalty myself.

"And yet the afternoon had started so well with Ian Wright presenting me with a silver cannon for breaking his club scoring record.

"I didn't see Ian afterwards but I'd imagine he thought I'd been very stupid. Well, look at him, he'd have elbowed people out of the way to take that penalty!"

"When it works, everyone goes mad. When it doesn't, everyone says you are mad. But I always try to please people.

"I like to please my team-mates. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad."
