Le Boss: "We Have Some Talented Boys Out There..."

The guy I sit next to at work can't be happy. Why? I hear you ask. The answer is he is a S*nderland fan and he travelled from North West London to the Stadium of Light to watch our young Guns put three goals past his team. I wouldn't be happy....it's a long old treck up to S*nderland and I'm sure after losing 3-0 it's gonna be a longer journey home!

When he returns to work tomorrow I shall do my best not to take the piss too much!

Anyway...here's what the Gaffer had to say following the victory...

"We had a good base, defensively we were strong and they could have dealt with the games in the Premiership. We have some talented boys out there and they showed it."

"I felt S*nderland worked very hard, tried to put us under pressure with a very direct game. The size of our defenders helped us because we coped very well with the long balls.

"In patches we were dangerous going forward and you could see we had the quality to create chances, even if we lost the ball or were too much in a hurry to take our chances.

"Overall I'm very happy with the performance and the spirit of the boys and the fact they could cope with a big crowd and against a team who was very committed."

I was SO glad the young lads swept sunderland aside.
Yes - we have got brilliant youngsters and I'm sure some people can now see where Mr Wenger was coming from after he didn't sign a replacement for Vieira... with talent like that in reserves, the future does look bright for us - even if chels*a are dominating for the moment...

The result lastnight leads me to believe that we shouldn't really have a real problem coping with injuries...
the fact of the matter is (and anyone who isn't an arsenal fan reading this will think - yawn..) but we HAVE been unlucky to be where we ara in the league...

i'm not gonna sit here and tell u all about every decision that has gone against us etc... but what i will say is that if Reyas doesn't find his shooting boots when Henry isn't around (even though he cost us a good £16m+!!!) then it is clear we need to give him abit of a wake up call and bring in the hungry teenagers desperate to make a mark...because lets face it, the games we've lost, we haven't exactly had a problem creating chances but we NEED to start rolling over teams like we used to - with or without HENRY!

as long as Campbell stays injury-free, and we start finishing 4 out of 20 chances in a game then we'll be up there at the end...

sorry for the long post! had to get it off me chest!
