Super Rob Out in the Cold
RP7 has once again been left out of the French national squad by coach Raymond Domenech.
Bobby has not played for his country since last October after he took a swipe (not literally) at Domenech and the French FA for being fined for wearing the wrong shirt!!! (I'm sure you all remember the Puma/Adiadas saga.)
Anyway, the full squad looks like this;
Gregory Coupet (Lyon), Mickael Landreau (Nantes); Jean-Alain Boumsong (Newcastle), William Gallas (Chelsea), Gael Givet (Monaco), Willy Sagnol (Bayern Munich), Sebastien Squillaci (Monaco), Lilian Thuram (Juventus), Jonathan Zebina (Juventus); Vikash Dhorasoo (Paris St Germain), Alou Diarra (Lens), Claude Makelele (Chelsea), Jerome Rothen (Paris St Germain), Patrick Vieira (Juventus), Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid); Djibril Cisse (Liverpool), Ludovic Giuly (Barcelona), Thierry Henry (Arsenal), Florent Malouda (Lyon), Sylvain Wiltord (Lyon).

That would be good news for me,simply because,he looks tiring and more playing time for him would boost his strugling start of season but it will derail him physically.I do have mixed feelings about it,I love when the GUNS help their homeland but also am critical if it affects their club contribution.
I agree Dan, it's always nice to see the lads on the really big stage, but as you say, if it affects their club performance keep 'em at home!!!
