Despite Thierry picking up the Golden Boot AGAIN last season he has revealed that he wasn't firing on all cylinders."Since June 2004 I had a difficult season on a physical level," said Tel.
"It often handicapped me, notably my Achilles tendon trouble.
"I could only sprint at 80 percent of my ability without being able to run again and again, and when you know me, that is my major asset.
"I usually try to wear out defences, only work pays off.
"I wanted to work but my body didn't allow me any more."

we know that you unerachieved last year titi 30 goals in 35 games is not good enough and chipping in with 14 assists does not impress anyone get fit or get out your contribution last year was abismall sheesh :)

I wish he was still injured cos his performances so far this season have been woeful!! yes two goals against fulham, but really that means nothing!! against the better teams like newcastle & chelsea x 2 he was anonymous!! his performances last season were much better!! He seems to have lost a very slight bit of pace, because against newcastle & chelski I have seen defenders outrun him & I have never seen that before!!

I meant in terms of a performance from henry, not in terms of points!! of course every goal counts just like drogba's did against us!! Last season against chelski especially at highbury henry was on fire & was very unlucky not to get the three goals, now he was supposedly injured at that time!! He says he has had a great pre season for the first time in ages so why then are his performances so poor against the better teams??

Out of context.I was just seeing some pic's posted on some blog, they were of that infamous bust up between Arsebnal players and Man U,Look at Keown, did he look awful or just Ugly?.he has made my lunch a laugh through the grains.
Against Fulham Henry played like a striker and that made a huge difference. Against Newcastle and Chelsea he was acting a captain, not playing the striker. As long as he keeps up the striker role he should score plenty of goals.
If Titi is to play more as a striker and share the responsibility of a captain in areas like motivaion with players like Gilberto,Campbell,Cole.i think and know he would be abonus to already what he has offered.
