"The other players always look first to find Thierry so when he is not playing someone else gets less of the ball.
"At the moment Jose is receiving more passes because Thierry is not there and I think he enjoys that.
"He took some free kicks which maybe Thierry would have taken and put in some very dangerous balls for Sol to score.
"It's all part of his growing process. He looks less lightweight and is more dominant in the challenge than he was when he arrived here."
Thierry also believes that our youngsters need to learn how to play as a side and not a collection of individuals.
"You win things as a team, when I was young I had to learn that," said our Skipper.
"When I was young I wanted to showboat at times, sometimes I just wanted to please the crowd.
"But in this game you learn quickly that you need to be efficient and to be good for the team.
"Sometimes you may think it makes you look bad individually, but you need to do it for the team.
"That was difficult for me at the start of my career - putting my own ego on one side - and playing for the team.
"But once you understand that, all the other things open up for you.
"Individually, players like Jose, Cesc Fabregas and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie are great players and every team would like to have them.
"But we need to go back to trying to play for each other as a team.
"We have to spend less time on the ball and move it on quicker. If we do that then we will be the side everyone else fears."

Reyes has been excellent so far, could do with a goal but he looks quick and strong. Lets hope the form doesn't dissipate this year as we go into cold wet weather. And how I cheered when he kicked that ugly B*stard Neville. Bout time it happened. Moyes defence of Neville was laughable as well

The Grimsby result aside, the other amusing thing about the Spuds is that they are starting to have a right moan about some of their new signings especially Stalteri, Rasiak and Jenas !!!!
Yes Jenas the player a lot of the doom mongers were up in arms about us not signing at £7million !! The Spuds are making comments about the Geordies laughing all the way to the bank with that money !!!
bottom line jenas is not good enough to play for us, thats why we did not sign him, and signing 20 players does not garauntee success
Yeah Legrande! I totally agree! Although I enjoyed the match (it's not very often that we get games where the heart doesn't end up in the mouth), one of the best moments was definately when Reyes kicked Neville in the air. I kinda thought that Neville looked quite graceful in flight. It'd be nice to see it more often 8-)

on that point i would like to say that we dont mean to sound like glory hunters but after the succsess we have had over the last 15 years we have got used to winning trophies i remember the lean times after doing the double in 71 as well but i still supported the team even though spurs were the more glamorous team especially in the 80's before GG took over, our level of expectancy is a lot higher than the average spurs fan,

So Comical, another spurs season ended in September. Oh well, now they return to not having anything better to do midweek than dissect our performances and waffle onto us about how shit we are and that they'll be in the UEFA next season (just like the last 7 years).
