Dein: AW Is Best Signing Ever
David Dein insists that Le Boss is the best signing we have ever made. AW takes charge of his 500th game on Sunday and he has no plans of quitting yet...
"To manage that number of games at this level is an outstanding achievement," DD told the Daily Mail. "There's no doubt he's the best signing we've ever made. He's an extraordinarily committed professional and the future of the club is in safe hands.
"He is developing a new team and they are all part of the long-term future at the club."
Nice...

yeah. wenger rules and arsenal football club is the most beautiful thing in the world.
i've got a great feeling about the chav game. i reckon we'll beat them. i've even had strange visitations in the night.
they tell me flamini is a world class player in the deschamps mould.
the chavs must be a little scared. they're so overhyped and its just a game of football...
hehehe!! c'mon gooners!!
It's funny mow...a lot of Gooners I've been speaking to have had a 'feeling' about Sunday's game. I usually sit on the fence a bit with these clashes - but I'm strangely confident....
2-1 to the Arse!!!
..and the feeling probably stems fron all the bollocks Kenyon and JM have been spouting.
"the pendulum of justice swingeth"
3-1 to the Arse I reckon. Henry, Hleb and RvP for us. A Lampard (deflected) goal for the Russkii.
i think he'll stick with the NuFC side. he may take the view that it's too important a game, and too early in the season to play the unpredictable guys.
i do expect hleb, RvP and reyes to settle down and get regular starts over the coming months though. in fact, RvP will be first choice by October...
i think he will drop db10 and play rvp, also hleb or reyes will start instead of pires and we will stuff the chav bastards
Hleb is cool, but surely it's a risk? he wont have experienced such a game before - and he's still settling into the team.
mow remember when reyes played them in the fa cup he never experienced such a game before that did he?, there is nothing that will give hleb the experience than chucking him in there, i think he would relish it,
true, but this is away from home and its a league game and the stakes are so much higher one way or another. i wouldn't mind if Hleb played, i think Pires is loosing interest in the Arsenal dream.
i'm just trying to get into AWs mind...
I also think AW likes Dennis in the team because, in the short term, as we feel our way into the new post Vieira universe, we need to make sure we have our quota of experience/leadership/character on the pitch.
once the season is in full swing, the games are coming thick and fast and everyone has a few battle scars, i reckon it will be different. but until then, it's essential we get off to a good start. if we screw up now it might knock the kids back a bit. and we can't afford that, otherwise we could finish 5th or worse....
i agree with you mow and he will probably leave hleb on the bench and start reyes, i think offering pires a 1 year rolling contract is a stroke of genius, he is definately a shadow of his former self
I agree. Hleb hasnt played a full competitive game yet so Reyes should start instead. I am a big Reyes fan nomatter what a lot of Arsenal fans think of him.
I also reckon DB10 should start ahead of RvP, with the later getting in the team at half time (not in the last 20 minutes!!).
The rest of the team picks up itself..
