Cesc: Get Torres
Young Cesc has urged Le Boss to sign Fernando Torres...
"We would love it if he came because he is a complete player with a great physique and I am a big fan of his," said Cesc.
"Torres is a good player, a great goalscorer and we would be delighted if he was to sign for us."
To be honest I haven't seen a HUGE amount of Fernando Torres - what I have seen, I like.
How do you guys think he would fit in at Arsenal?

I've seen torres playing a few games and finally understood why so many clubs are after him. He has the pace to beat his markers and he is very good with the ball. He seems to be better with his feets compared to aerial ball. Maybe it's because A. Madrid doesn't really play aerial ball but I believe torres would fit in well into the current arsenal squad.
Not seen much of him myself, but certainly sounds world class. He is supposed to be good in the air, two footed and have pace and ability. His scoring record is ok but probably in an arsenal attack would become more prolific. One question though, if we assume Henry stays and we get Torres, how many good strikers do we then have. Henry, Torres, Van Persie, Adebayor, Walcott, not to mention the youth strikers waiting in the background. If we get Torres it can mean only one of three things.
1 One of the above will become a midfielder, most likely Van Persie or Walcoot.
2 At least one of the above will be slowly frozen out and eventually be sold.
3 We get Torres because Henry is leaving, which would certainly take the shine off from the purchase of another excellent young player.
Aliadiere is back this summer too. With Lupoli and Bendtner coming through fast if we bought Torres (which I'd love) then we'd have to sell at least one or probably two of: Van Persie, Adebayor (unlikely) & Aliadiere.
Can't see it happening myself
Yes, Torres is a complete footballer(good technic, pace, speed, highly trated goal scorer).
He doesn't miss a lot goal scoring opportunities.
But I don't know how much he will cost, as a lot of bigs clubs are after him.
Aliadiere and Adebayor aren't up to it, whilst Lupoli looks like he still has quite some development to do - Bendtner and obviously Walcott would be my picks to succeed at Arsenal (and van Persie, once he gets back in the scoring groove). That said, next season we obviously need one more striker.
Torres is a pipe dream though - he's a world class talent, but is most likely to end up at Manchester Utd. or perhaps Chelsea. We're not in with a shout, and besides, Wenger is more likeley to look at more budget friendly options - expect duds like Berbatov or Kuijt to be discussed.
Torres is a pipe-dream, we'll not even dream of spending that much money - it's unlikely even if Henry leaves. Agree with above poster, don't expect anything special from Wenger this summer.
I agree with anon 11:11, Torres is a pipedream. When is the last time Wenger brought in an established star? Campbell on free and Overmars?
I don´t rate Adebayor at all and I hope he leaves, I don´t think Aliadiere will ever make it.
I expect some of the youths to be brought through or if he buys.. it will be someone with a name like Ogo Bukalakabubu
Just saw that we're offering Song a contract. Nice to see that there's plenty of room for nobodies at this club - what are we, some kind of homeless shelter? That kid needs to go back to school, because his footballing ability is obviously more of a liability.
Torres is a fantastic player, who cares about the money, this guy guarentees we knock chelski from the top next season, he'll play brilliantly with Henry and Reyes this is 1 big money signing worth making, better than Adebayor who wont make it cos he has a touch like a baby rhino, van persie who has no right foot, and the always injured aliadiere.
Anon 1:35 - I agree entirely mate.
Alex Song is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Yeah, he's very young still - but look at Cesc...Song doesn't have the quality and cant read the game well enough.
Send him back to Bastia!!!
Unfortunately, we won't sign him because:
a) it's too obvious that it makes sense
and
b) Wenger can't pay for him using magic beans
