I've just heard a rumour that he is moving to a bigger house down the road.

Unless you are the estate agent that really isn't helpful!

yea, i read the same thing somewhere, and i hope to god its wrong, or he's just gonna buy a house somewhere closer to ashburton grove...i will be devastated if he leaves...ive heard torres agent said that torres has "finishd his business in AM", and we all know torres wants to join arsenal if any team in the PL (he himself stated this)...so wenger should ulitmately bid for him,as soon as possible...henry wants ambition,we just built a new stadium and bringin in worldsoccerstars would help!as well as having the most talented youngsters on the planet!(fab, walcott):D

i don't think Henry would need to sell his house to move to Barcelona... he'd probably want to keep one in London anyway

having said that i don't think he's going... he said the fans response would have a bearing on his going/staying... and i think he would be leaving too much behind - we've all been through the various options but i guess we'll find out in the next week and a half

He's also purchasing one of the flats at Highbury, apparently.....

Pointless rumour,
Pointless conversation.

It was on EatSleepSport earlier but it was a typically crappy article. It said that Henry would consider the crowd reaction to him at the game next week before making up his mind. What kind of crap is that? He has had years of adulation from Arsenal fans. Why would their reaction next week affect him. Also, if things that are going to happen next week will influence his decision, why would he already have his house up for sale? It is the same kind of garbage that we saw in Levy's letter.

heard the same myself from a website earlier today.

Whilt it's not conclusive proof he's off, it did raise an eyebrow.

hope there's nothing to be read into it.

he's not the sort of bloke that would let news leak out via an estate agent... he'll tell us when he's decided...

if he's staying it would be nice if he told us before the final next week - that would give us a big psychological advantage

i'm lucky enough to have a ticket... and i'm nervous already

Just thought I'd add - I believe it's true that he's selling his house, however that certainly doesn't mean he's not just moving somewhere else. After all, he does have relatively young children, and this almost inevitably leads to a need for a change of scenery, even among the rich and famous!

That said, it's my inclination to believe that he is going, although I don't believe this is any kind of 'proof'.

does anyone know what happened to Henry's statement a couple of months ago that he was staying at Highbury? Were they just hollow words?

Here's hoping we don't sell Henry and sign Berbatov - the guy's not up to much (having seen him play plenty). Scoring in Germany is only slightly harder than scoring in Scotland - far from challenging! A Spurs calibre player if ever there was one...

off topic a bit but is Ian Wright really surprised SWP isn't going to germany? SWP shouldn't have been greedy and signed for a club that didn't need him

Of course he's surprised, but thoughtful is one thing Wrighty's not.

SWP is a good player, and had Lennon not made a strong case for himself, he'd probably still have gone despite his lack of appearances. But the spud put his hand up, SWP faded, and the rest is history...

This story hasn't one ounce of credibility. Ignore it.

If Henry's house was up for sale, it would all over The Sun, The Mirror, The Times, Sky Sports News et al.

It would not be on some shitty, ad-covered little excuse for a sports news website which carries made up quotes.

Don't be so quick to dismiss - it could well be true and break in the papers tomorrow (as well it might). That said, it doesn't mean, necessarily, that he's going - indeed, considering his family ties to London and England, it's very unlikely that, should he move to Barca, he'll cut his ties here and sell his property anyway. He's got young kids and might well want to move somewhere more suitable for them.

He might go, he might not, but only time (and not EatSleepSport) will tell.

I know for a fact that Mrs Henry has extended the contract of their Nanny for another year - and that was last month.

This is the opposite of those rumours where 'Player X is looking for a house in a certain area, so it looks like he's signing for Team Y'. This kind of speculation crops up a lot, and is rarely true.

Van Nistlehorse to Spurs - you heard it here second (or third, or maybe even first, if you've been living in a box).

Whilst I'm not certain, I was a little surprised that Henry didn't commit his future after the final game at Highbury - if ever we could have put on an advert for why he should stay at Arsenal, surely that was it?

Maybe he really is that calculated, but I was really hoping that he'd have a rush of blood there and then and agree to stay....

this is all bollocks,

King Henry will not let us down, he will be with us for the next 5 years.

ive said from the begining, he will stay, and i havnt seen or heard anything since the start of the season to change my mind.

Well, Ambrose, I've thought from the start that he'll go, and I've seen nothing that makes me think otherwise.

Still, wait and see....

I remember when an Estate Agent in Cheshire apparently had sold a house to Sol Campbell. It was almost word for word the same rumour. A week later he signed for Arsenal.

If Henry was going and had made his mind up I doubt he would sell his London home, having a British born wife and daughter. Even Beckham has kept Beckhingham palace desite spending living in Madrid. We're scraping the bottom of a very wanky barrel now and it seems that anything will count as news. I don't know if he'll stay or if he'll go (I suspect he'll go but I hope not), but whatever happens I don't think we'll find out through some bizarre rumour.

I think Henry would have announced to the fans on Sunday if he was going to stay.. would have been a fitting finish.. The King is Dead.. long live The King.. Wenger will produce the next Henry...

Like in any other job, i suspect he wants to finish all games for AFC before commiting to another contract. If he does leave, I wont hold him against it. Playing upto 50 games a season in the toughest league in the world takes its toll. To keep playing longer he may decide Spain/Italy is an option....Whatever happens he's done his bit for AFC. Good luck

Again you have simply lifted this story from other websites. Do you actually post your own stories or do you just copy and paste stories from elsewhere?(eg the trick story about a new kit for the final) This story has been around since yesterday on other websites. Apparently his house is up for sale, he has bought one nearer the training ground and he is getting a flat that will be built on the North Bank. None of this means he is staying or going, it means he is loaded and can do what the hell he likes!

Don't worry Nyssie - it's internet bullshit...

Fact: I have it from an insider who has never got it wrong that Titi will be signing a five year contract the day after CL Final, regardless of the result.

Stay out of trouble you crazy kids....

the rumour i have heard from my mates son who is apprentice groundsman at highbury is that he will possibly sign his 4 year contract a DB10 testimonial in the centre circle in front of 60000 fans screaming his name

Read some idiots reply above saying Henry was going to see what the crowd reaction to him was next week before deciding to stay. If they had read the article correctly he actually mentioned the crowds reaction after the Wigan game. He saw how much he meant to the fans and said he would take this in to consideration. Read items carefully before posting crap!!!

Well morning everyone, just read the debate about TH - so we dont know yet, but i believe that AW does, why do we all beat ourselves up with the rubbish the press/commentors share with us.
What i see is drama, very cler, very shrewd by AW and the board. All this about TH keeps our boys in the press, on TV each day, anyone out there who has talent will be watching and all this hype may be they will sign in the summer...... i think a few 'old' ones will go, a few good ones who the big man will make brilliant will come in.... i cant wait, a win against Barca albeit tight and then roll on Ashburton Grove and a massive season ahead - and that will be after Theo makes a name for himself in Germany

When Barca kick your poisoning losing arses I will laugh soooo long. Then Henry will sign for a proper side who can actually win things.

You know I think this food poisoning is poisoning our club. I don't bother if he leaves because the coldsp*rs threaten to poison him, but we all know that even Viera left, Edu followed and Wiltord was fired. Le prof knows the magic.
