Cesc Tells It How It Is
Young Cesc has hit out at Chel$ki's big spending tactics ahead of our clash at Stamf*rd Bridge on Sunday..."At Arsenal, we don't just get out the chequebook to sign players," he said. "We believe in our youngsters.
"The manager had faith in Patrick Vieira ten years ago. Now he is one of the best players in the world.
"Chels*a may have more money but you don't win matches with money. Arsenal are different. We are all about playing properly and controlling the ball.
"This concept hasn't worked too badly for us. We have won lots of trophies in the past decade.
"There's the outstanding matter of winning something big in Europe but this season could be the one when we have a change of luck in the Champions League."

Yep we need a GK and center half, and maybe a centre midfielder!
we need only one thing and that is to beat Chelsea by two clear goals and keep a clean sheet then nobody would come and say we need this or that.
I read an article on CFC today in response to what Cesc said, guess what the reply was? The reply did not even attempt to answer the question and they started talking about the number of English player. Cesc is right in fact, I think that the only reason why they have so many English players is because they can afford to waste money. Rio earn £100k a week that is too much for a player that rarely changes the change. He does not even know how to score goals. Asley complaining about the amount of money he gets, Terry too slow, SWP too expensive, and I think the most effective players that are English are Lampard, Gerrard, carragher, Rooney, Owen... I did not put Asley because I think he still has a few games to convince me that he is for real.
Its anything but luck we lack in Europe. Its STRATEGY and i see no change to that this season. We look poor as far as Europe is concerned.
