Where Were Kolo and Emmanuel?

Le Boss has revealed why Toure and Eboue did not feature in Saturday's FA Cup clash against Cardiff...

“I could not play them today,” said Wenger, speaking after the victory at Highbury.

“At nine o’clock this morning in the team meeting, they were in the squad, in the team.

“I pulled them out at 11.30am. They [Ivorian national team management] are sitting in a hotel waiting for their players.”

We asked the Ivorian FA to allow Toure and Eboue to play against Cardiff before joining up with their national team-mates, but our request was blown out.

“We just wanted the players to go tonight instead of going last night and play today. It was turned down,” said Wenger.

“They travel on Monday to the United Arab Emirates for a training camp."

AW also explained that the Club had asked FIFA to help out and offer a solution but were instead warned the match may be awarded to Cardiff, if the duo were not released on time...!

Bastards!

Oh well, 2-1 to the Arsenal!

Oh yeah - before I forget...I have to admit that I was jumping for joy last night as I watched Leicester knock the shitbags from down the road out of the FA Cup.

Absolutely fucking superb!!!

Won't be long before they're back where they belong in the league....somewhere below us!!!

BOOTIFUL!

I don't usually post on the weekend...but this morning I'm happier than a dog with two pricks!

HE'S STAYING!!!

Talk about over the moon!!!! Here's what Titi said...

"The truth is I love this club and I've made my mind up to stay.

"I can say to all my fans and the people who care about me I want to lead the team out in the new stadium.

"There was a lot of ridiculous speculation. But the truth is this: I never spoke with or met with a single person from any other club at any time. "This will put an end to all the stories and now we can move on. If I do commit myself for life, I hope the club and the board will - the same way as I do."

He added: "Obviously I did think about leaving Arsenal, but when I see the fans and the way they talked to me, it helped make my decision.

"They waited for me to make my decision. They didn't boo me or make life difficult for me on the pitch."

It's gonna take something pretty shitty to wipe the smile off my face today people!!!

RVP Going Nowhere

RVP has commited his long term future to the Gunners by signing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2011. Speaking on Radio Five Live RVP had this to say...

"I've been here for 18 months, really enjoyed it and it was never a financial thing so I sorted out the new contract in about two or three days.

"I am really happy to be moving to the new stadium next season and it's something that I want to be part of."

GOOD LAD!!!

Titi " "When Ashley Comes Back it's Going to Be Another Story"

The Skipper believes that once Ash returns from his lengthy injury it will boost the side no end...

"When Ashley comes back it's going to be another story." he said

"That used to be our strong side, sometimes it's a bit difficult when Ashley isn't there, as he knows what to do when he goes up.

"I just think, and hope, we're going to have a better run in the second half of the season."

Wrighty Reckons TH14 is Off

Ian Wright Wright Wright is the latest to give his opinion on the Thierry Henry - will he, won't he saga. Here's what Wrighty had to say...

"My gut feeling is Thierry is going to leave," he told The Sun. "If I was in the same position as him I would.

"When I was an Arsenal player, it never crossed my mind to leave. But I was never the world star that Thierry is, so I was quite happy to be at a club of such stature.

"I could also see that the team was getting ready to take off. You were looking at a team back then that could dominate, as it did for a while, but I can't see that now.

"When Patrick Vieira left I was shocked and now I think Thierry might have done as much as he can do at Arsenal."

To be honest peeps, with every day that passes I am becoming more and more convinced that he will leave us in the summer...

Vieira: "...My Absence Has Been Felt..."

Former skipper Patrick Vieira believes that we miss him. Badly. I for one am inclined to agree, after all we haven't exactly set the world alight this season have we?

Here's what PV had to say...

"I really do think that my absence has been felt, though I don't want to be presumptuous," said Vieira.

"They have certainly suffered psychologically since I left.

"Maybe it's because they haven't fully understood the reasons I left or maybe they are only just beginning to understand."

"I left London because there was nothing left to stimulate me," added Vieira.

"I am 29 and still at the top of my career.

"I have reached my peak physically and tactically.

"I wanted to play the best years of my career for a side that would help me develop my ambitions and Juventus have allowed me this."
