Vieira: "...My Absence Has Been Felt..."
Former skipper Patrick Vieira believes that we miss him. Badly. I for one am inclined to agree, after all we haven't exactly set the world alight this season have we?Here's what PV had to say...
"I really do think that my absence has been felt, though I don't want to be presumptuous," said Vieira.
"They have certainly suffered psychologically since I left.
"Maybe it's because they haven't fully understood the reasons I left or maybe they are only just beginning to understand."
"I left London because there was nothing left to stimulate me," added Vieira.
"I am 29 and still at the top of my career.
"I have reached my peak physically and tactically.
"I wanted to play the best years of my career for a side that would help me develop my ambitions and Juventus have allowed me this."

Jobby, I honestly don't think so. I'm checking the net every 5 minutes to see if something is happening but I fear we won't. My only hope is from what AW is saying - I'll only buy if the right calibre of player is available - he came out with the same stuff 2 year ago before we signed Jose.
