Lovely Old Job!
I have a feeling that last night could well be a turning point for us. I've got to be honest, I didn't expect ANYTHING from last night's game and would have been more than happy with a draw. But the boys performed. Well.Almost every player in our team was outstanding. Big Sol was a colossus and once again proved why HE should be captain. Needless to say I am very pleased.

alright lads, as i'm sure you realised anyway, that person last night going on as jack wasn't me. i'd never be such a dick as i'm sure you all know. aanyway, what a performance!! totally unexpected i've got to admit but they were alll superb. especially freddie who i thought did quality up front. 6 out of 6, not bad for a team who are supposedly in crisis and crap in europe!!
An unconvincing win against a likewise injury depleted team. It Dont mean much to me.
Last thing I wanna hear is some player going on to media and talking the usual crap about how this is a turning point and so forth.
They just need to get on with it and do the job as they best can.
The few coming games will be a real test of caracter.

GunnerPete says....what is wrong withg you mate ? we beat a rated side, who, yes had a few injuries,BUt nothing like ours, and were at home. Blimey some people can never praise this great little side AW is building. Senior & stiffs, were great last night, and I think with Qunicy & Ryan Smith to come, we have some future.

Jack,well said.there people here who really dont appreciate when we win "un-convincingly".when the chelski prunks scored against us in the EPL game,they said alot of how we didnt do well though the goal its self,if Cunt Drogs is asked hoe he scored cant say....am tired of such prunks mailing their suggestions here when we win

Great result for the boys last night - Someone described Sol as a colossus somewhere, and that is an understatement. He s great leader.
On the captaincy, I've seen quite a few posts on the fact that Sol should be captain. I do agree, but remember at the time when the captaincy was chosen we didn't even know what Sol's future at the club held - he was injured, Senderos looked like a btter replacement, and Arsene probably felt he needed to make a decision on captain to unify the team.
Making a striker captain ain't ideal, but leaders on the pitch don't have to be captains and I think that with TH, with the help of Sol & Freddie leading by example, things will work out well.
Come on you gunners.
i was watching the game last night and you could see shringham was pissed that we were winning, also pleat sounds like he is reading off an autocue when he is comentating, what was with all the ex spurs lot talking about our game last night,???? where there no ex gooners available,
