Le Boss Refusing to Panic Just Yet
The Gaffer is refusing to panic just yet, and still reckons that we'll come good this season. Speaking after Saturday's piss poor performance he had this to say;
"I am positive because we played with a good spirit and desire overall,"
"We were very close to winning the game, we just lacked a bit in the final ball, maybe with a bit of nerves."
"When you don't win away from home in two games, the nerves play a bit of a role and you could see that in the way we wanted to take the chances."
"Just not having lost will help us in the next game."
He added: "I am not worried because I feel we will come back - if I commit suicide, it will not change a lot."
"I feel that the team at the moment has a great spirit and needs support.
"There is quality in there. I know people will be harder with us than we deserve, and that is why I am positive, because I believe in this team."
I know some of you are gonna have a pop at me for calling it a piss poor performance on Saturday. BUT, we should be winning games against NEWLY PROMOTED sides. Home or away.

U got this post up twice????
Not any more!
I was at Upton Park on Saturday and it was a piss poor performance. There was little creativitity and nothing incisive during the whole game. We had the same problem as at Chelsea and 'Boro of playing in front of their back 4 and going nowhere. The reports that I read on Sunday morning must have been written by somebody watching a different game to me as the one I saw was woeful.
The only bright point was Quincy coming on and finally having somebody prepared to run at a defence which can only be described as adequate at best and had no problems dealing with our front line. You need the manager to come out after games like this and say that it was a poor performance and not say all is well and we should be happy with a draw.
In all honesty im not concerned. We played West Ham at a bad time. It is probably the only time all seaosn that they will be in good form, and we took the brunt of it. 0-0 away, is not a bad result, especially as it ends our run of away defeats. I did say before the season started that we lack physical players, players who are required to go to difficult away games and pick up wins, and it is sadly the truth. 3 away games, and no wins.
We should not be worrying about Chelsea's results, they are in a league of their own, and i would say 2nd place is the new 1st. Chelsea won the league at a canter last year, and really did not need to improve their squad greatly, but instead of saying we are good enough, they spend a further £50 million to further enhance their already ridiculous squad. Honestly, how do you compete with that?
Sure, we have not made a great start, and we will not be winning the title this year, but should we get a half decent run in the Champions League, and end up in the top 4, the season would have to be heralded as a success considering the lack of money spent in the close season, and this clearly being a transitional season for us.
I for one no longer care what Chelsea do and i do not think many fans up and down the country do either. It is a real shame that the title race has become a bit of a joke, it is not the way things should be, but there is one man to blame for this and he is a Russain who quite frankly should not be here. We all know Chelski are ruining English football, but they are here and lets just forget about them. Winning the title fucking should be an inevitability for them and it will be, BUT I JUST DONT CARE ANYMORE, and if no one cares if they win, will they enjoy their success?
Lets enjoy our teams flowing football and really get behind them, especially in Europe. Lets try to get to the 1/4 finals and then who knows?
In 270 minutes of away Premiership football this season we had 15 minutes of looking like we'll score. That is alarming.
AW is wrong. It IS time to panic.
It was different when Arsenal where unbeaten, we played great passing football. Now we have Chelski winning every match but its not the same as our unbeaten run. We had great style they don't and should be docked points so we can catch up. The league is predictable now at least we played entertaining football when unbeaten.
