Arsenal have agreed a fee of €20m with Juventus for midfielder Patrick Vieira.The 29-year-old, who has been at Highbury since 1996, will join the Italian club if he agrees personal terms.
A statement on the club’s official website www.arsenal.com read: “Arsenal Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for the transfer of Patrick Vieira to Juventus for a total fee of €20m.
“At this stage, Patrick is now finalising his personal terms and conditions with Juventus.”

It's quite ironic that a player at his peak has chosen to move to a league that is no longer considered the greatest in Europe. Perhaps he is in pursuit of champions league glory.
