Are We Gunning for Jenas?

Reports coming out claim we are lining up a bid for Magpies midfielder Jermaine Jenas. If these are true we're not gonna get him on the cheap, in fact Souness says it will take something special to obtain his signature;

"If we were to sell Jermaine, which is the last thing on my mind, it would have to be for a lot more money than Patrick Vieira is being sold for - if it is £12million - because he is 22 years old and he has the potential to be one of the best midfield players in the world," he said.

"He maybe he does not have the aggression that Patrick Vieira has, but he has certainly got the athleticism, technically he is good - he is an outstanding player.

"But it would take a lot more than £12million to buy Jermaine Jenas, and I do not think anyone has that kind of money right now."
