JAR: "...We Could Have the Best Forward Line in the World."
Jose Antonio hopes that we will make a move for Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres. The pair are apparently good friends, and Jose really wants his mate to join him in N5.
Here's what he had to say...
"Right now only Thierry Henry is better than him,"
"He is the best forward in Europe and has a great deal of experience while Torres is only 21.
"Torres is a great player, but still has time to progress.
"With him and Henry we could have the best forward line in the world.
"They would be lethal with me giving them assistance."

thfc - another sp*rs fan sputing shite about football, you really should check your facts out before you say anything. Firstly, Reyes is a quality player and would walk into your side and probably 16 others in the league. As for not having bottle - he is the most fouled player in the Premier league over the last two years - currently 11 fouls above his nearest rival this year. At OT in 2004 he had the shit kicked out of him and was still man of the match in most of the sunday papers (certainly can think of 4 off the top of my head).
You spouted some shit about our young players just accepting not winning anything for a couple of years when your players " are going forward" whilst we are going back. Firstly, what have your young players won? - exactly. How many of your squad are internationals? about 5 or maybe 7 i think it was when I looked on the back of your programme. Dont get me wrong, for the first time in 15 years you are actually getting better but you just make sure your own house is in order before you look at ours. You finishing outside the top 6 is a real possibility this year and it would represent a huge failure for the ny-on £200 million you have spent over the last 8/9 years.
To the rest of you - what if we get Kuyt as well? Then we have a target player as well as a sickeningly skillful "rooney-like" player. We have got £63 million to spend. Why not?
