Freddie: "We Have Always Been Confident..."

Following our win at Old Tr*fford on Sunday, Freddie feels that we have shown we are still a potent force in the League...

"We have always been confident, but of course when you only have two points from the first three games, it is not a good start," Freddie stated.

"We have just not been able to win the games."

"We have conceded some soft goals in the past, then it has been hard to win games."

"That has been something we have had to work on and hopefully we can now get back on track."

"Against M*nchester Un!ted, we showed everybody how good we are."

What do you think, are we good enough to win the Premiership this term or are we still lacking in certain areas?

Your thoughts...

We are good enough to compete for the title this year b/c of our squad depth, and Chelsea will stutter as much as we do bedding in the new boys. Psychologically as well as footballistically the title is Chelsea's to lose. As soon as they get their noses in front that psychological advantage will kick in - refs start blowing soft penalties, other teams cave in, the dressing room stays unified, etc, etc.

Still, if we win five of the next six premiership games we are in with a chance.

I think the biggest factor will be how well or how poorly the big four do in the champion's league and FA Cup. Up to a point I agree with Wenger that doing well in Europe helps one's form in the Premierleague. Beyond that even chelsea will drop points in the league.

If Arsenal really have turned the corner (and I'm not so sure they have), then fixture congestion (or lack thereof), injuries & suspensions, and bottle against the other top sides will determine the title.

Not sure there's anything insightful in what I just wrote, but you did ask.
