Cesc Bigs Up Wenger
Cesc has thanked AW for allowing him to play against Juve, as we know he is still only 18 but he is playing with the compusure and maturity of someone far beyond his years. Here's what the little matador had to say...
“The team deserve a lot of credit,” he said after the game. “Nobody expected us to do this, that is true, but now we have shown those people to be wrong.
“At a big club like Arsenal with a big manager, it is always difficult to believe in young players. But he did and we have to thank him for what he is giving us.
“It is not easy when you want to win things and you start to build a team with the likes of me, Philippe [Senderos], Gael [Clichy] and Mathieu [Flamini]. He has done it and had confidence in us.
“We are really grateful to him because he is giving us the opportunity that we did not expect before.
“But we are in the Semi-Final and now we have to be professional. As well we must look forward to the game with M*nchester Un!ted [on Sunday] if we are gong to get that fourth place."
