Galatasaray In £5M Move for Bob

Robert Pires is being offered a three-year £5million deal by Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The Frenchman may be tempted as he realises there is no major long-term pay-day for him at Highbury as his time runs out.

Pires had hoped for a move to Spain, but Galatasary - hard-up but looking for stars - have now come in with their surprise proposal.

Arsenal would have to let Pires go for only a small fee to enable the Turks to afford the deal - and that has yet to be decided.
